Marie-France Mathes, Founding Partner of Macon PE, is a seasoned Private Equity professional with a deep experience in Emerging Markets PE, specializing in Growth Strategies and Business Development. 

Ms. Mathes was a Managing Director with Emerging Capital Partners (Washington DC), with a focus on Africa PE. Prior to this, Ms. Mathes was Co-Founder of an EM PE Fund of Funds, a Senior Investment Officer with the IFC (World Bank Group), a Vice President at Baring Private Equity Partners (London, Brussels) and an Investment Officer at Banque Paribas Capital Markets (London, Paris).

Ms. Mathes holds a M.Sc. in Economics from Pantheon-Sorbonne, Paris, France and a M. Phil. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, UK.
